- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the organisation’s operational risk management framework
- Facilitate risk and control self-assessments across various business units
- Monitor operational risk indicators, incidents, and trends to identify potential risk exposures
- Assist in preparing risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and governance committees
- Maintain and update the operational risk register, including incident and loss event tracking
- Participate in assessments of outsourcing and third-party service providers to evaluate associated risks
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate risk controls are implemented within outsourcing arrangements
- Review monitoring activities and control evidence to ensure risk controls are functioning effectively
- Track vendor performance and escalate incidents or issues that may impact operations
- Support oversight of technology-related risks, including ICT dependencies and operational disruptions
- Assist with risk assessments relating to technology platforms and external service providers
- Collaborate with technology and operational teams to identify potential control gaps and risk mitigation actions
- Support initiatives related to operational resilience, business continuity, and risk governance
- 4–7 years of experience in Operational Risk, IT Risk, Third-Party Risk, Vendor Risk, or Business Continuity within financial services
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and governance structures
- Knowledge of outsourcing risk, vendor oversight, and third-party risk management principles
- Familiarity with ICT risk management and operational resilience concepts
- Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery practices
- Awareness of relevant European regulatory expectations related to operational risk and outsourcing
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk exposures and propose mitigation measures
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior stakeholders
