Meliá Hotels International in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Chef de Partie Breakfast for Hotel BEN Marsalforn - Affiliated by Melia on a full-time basis.Overview:This person will be responsible for managing the kitchen, cooking for breakast, maintaining a safe and clean environment according to the set standards and to provide guests with an exceptional experience.Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all food preparation meets the F&B Hotel standards.
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination;
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships;
  • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues;
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation;
  • Be environmentally aware.
  • Take care of the stock keeping
  • Other duties deemed by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a year of previous experience as a Chef de Partie
  • good cooking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on own or in teams
  • Creative and innovative and follows current culinary trends
