One of our clients is looking for someone who can help with the upkeep of the place, and who can work independently. If this is something that interests you, please find the responsibilities below:Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

Carry out routine daily maintenance, including electrical servicing and general repair work.
Inspect control panels and electrical wiring systems to detect faults or potential problems.
Perform preventative maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and similar upkeep tasks.
Examine, diagnose, and resolve issues with equipment and systems, including ventilation units.
Test and verify the proper operation of safety systems, including fire alarm systems.
Work alongside contractors, technicians, and other professionals during renovation projects.
Promptly inform supervisors of any faults, concerns, or irregularities identified.
Maintain compliance with established quality standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations.
Undertake additional related tasks when required, including plastering, painting, and other general maintenance duties.
Adhere strictly to all applicable safety policies and procedures.
Respond efficiently to emergency breakdowns and complete assigned duties with diligence and professionalism.
Carry out any other responsibilities delegated by management or supervisors.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems
Experience with carpentry, and furniture fixtures
Team-oriented mindset with an understanding of maintaining a productive and dynamic workplace
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure
Clean police conduct

Education and Experience

Experience as a handyman or maintenance person
Electrical technician experience is an advantage
