A well-established and respected player in the wine industry is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Area Sales Executive to join its sales team on a full-time basis. This opportunity has become available due to the company's ongoing commitment to enhancing the service it offers to its valued clientele.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Duties:Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly within the HoReCa sectorPrepare and negotiate both new and existing contractsImplement sales initiatives and promotional strategiesProvide high-quality customer service and ongoing sales supportMonitor sales performance and follow up on client payments as per agreementsAdditional Duties:Organise promotional events with current and prospective clientsConduct product training sessions, particularly related to wine merchandisingMaintain strong public relations with key client personnelPrepare and manage in-store promotional material such as wine display unitsHost client visits to the winery for sales presentations and tastingsRepresent the company at events and trade shows, including wine festivals and industry functionsIdeal Candidate ProfileMinimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales and in-field marketingStrong business negotiation skills and a successful track record in meeting sales targetsTeam-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, and service-drivenFluent in both Maltese and EnglishMinimum O-level standard of educationPossession of a clean driving licencePrevious experience in the local HoReCa sector and wine trade is a strong assetRemuneration & BenefitsAn attractive remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with the candidates experience.
