Our client, a financial institution regulated by the MFSA offering B2B payment solutions based in Birkirkara, Malta is currently looking for a Finance and Treasury Executive to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for Finance Operations and Treasury Management.This is an office-based role offering a salary of up to €60K, depending on experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesManage treasury tasks such as account top-ups and internal transfersBank reconciliationsManage daily liquidity and flag any issuesSupport regulatory and financial reporting, including quarterly reportsProcess invoices and paymentsSupport with month-end closing, prepare reconciliations and supporting documentsAssist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory submissionsBuild scalable reconciliation models that aren't manual and create finance workflows that can easily grow with the teamUse AI and automation tools to increase efficiency and decrease manual workRegularly review and improve finance processesEducation, Skills & ExperienceBachelor in Accounts, Finance, or a related field3+ years of experience working in audit or accounting roles in Malta, working with a big 4 firm would be a plusExcellent communication skills in English both written and spokenWorking experience in financial services, fintech, banking, insurance, or igaming is a plusKnowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliationsProficient in MS Excel and/or financial modelling skillsOrganised, multi-tasking with a keen eye for detailAbout the RoleSalary of up to €60K, based on experienceOffice-based in Sliema, MaltaHealth InsuranceProfessional development opportunitiesPlease note that only candidates who are based in Malta will be considered for this role.Apply with your detailed CV in English.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
