A top-tier legal firm is searching for a Compliance Executive to join their team in Malta. You will collect and maintain client due diligence documentation in line with the Employer’s client on-boarding procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two to three years’ experience working in the corporate field with a minimum of one year working directly in AML/FT sector. If you have the required skills and background and are looking to join an established firm, GRS look forward to receiving your CV for this Malta based Compliance Executive role.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the Employer’s Compliance function for all of the Employer’s entities in day-to-day tasksCollect and maintain client due diligence documentation in line with the Employer’s client on-boarding proceduresCarrying out Client Risk Assessments at on-boarding stage and on an on-going basisConduct and analyse client screening investigationsAssist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and proceduresConduct internal compliance duties and reporting thereonLiaise with external parties such as registry of companies, regulatory and enforcement bodiesMaintain an organized and structures client due diligence filing system both physically and through the Employer’s internal softwareConduct any other AML related tasks that may be requiredRespond to requests from clients and internal sourcesAssist the MLRO in the preparations and submissions of annual statutory filings as well as other regulatory reporting obligationsKeep updated on any changes in any relevant laws and undergo the necessary training in order to ensure the Employer’s compliance functionCompile data for statistical purposesCANDIDATE PROFILEA minimum of two to three years experience working in the corporate field with a minimum of one year working directly in AML/FT sectorSound knowledge of the Implementing Procedures and local AML/FT legislationAML related qualifications will be considered an assetBe apt to manage and prioritise workWorks well in a team and collaborate well with other members from different departmentsHave an eye for detailSound computer literacy skills: MS Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookExcellent organisational skillsAbility to work under pressureCOMPANY BENEFITSHybrid – 1 day per week working from homePrestigious firmSuperb officesLife insuranceDue to the high volume of applications received at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.If you are a motivated professional keen to advance your career in compliance and believe you have the suitable background, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
