Company DescriptionMekanika is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical contracting, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management. Due to further expansion, the above-mentioned career opportunity has now arisen.Job DescriptionReporting to the Engineering Manager the selected candidate will essentially be expected to:

Create and develop technical drawings using Autodesk software.
Surveying the premises and producing high-quality working drawings for installation.
Coordinate different MEP services in a given space whilst avoiding clashes.
Creating material and equipment schedules.
Manage project document control including drawing registers, submittals and filing.
Revise and update drawings as required to meet specifications and standards.
Perform material take-offs to support project planning and procurement.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project accuracy.
Perform any other assignments relevant to the project.

QualificationsThe selected candidate will preferably:

Have previous relevant work experience, ideally within the Building Services sector.
Have a strong understanding of technical drawings, engineering principles, and design standards.
Be computer conversant in the use of Microsoft applications.
Be proficient in the use of ACAD & REVIT software.
Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
Be a team player.
