- Assist the Senior HR Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the HR function, ensuring alignment with overall Group objectives;
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes across all departments, including CV screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and selection procedures;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Line Managers to define role requirements, confirm candidate suitability, and meet hiring needs effectively;
- Proactively source and headhunt candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms to secure high-quality talent;
- Draft and issue employment offers to successful candidates and manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition into the organisation;
- Generate and analyse weekly and monthly recruitment reports for review with the Senior HR Manager;
- Support and coordinate training and development activities, including performance reviews, KPI setting, and identification of training needs, while tracking results;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements, compliance standards, and best practices;
- Provide oversight and guidance to the HR Officer, ensuring accuracy and consistency across HR operations;
- Review payroll data prepared by the HR Officer on a monthly basis, ensuring correctness and compliance before submission for final approval;
- Conduct employee-related meetings such as interviews, probation reviews, performance discussions, and exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation is maintained;
- Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding payroll queries and the leave management system;
- Support the Senior HR Manager in delivering ongoing HR projects and initiatives;
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment trends;
- Identify and recommend improvements to HR processes to increase efficiency and service quality
- Work closely with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment in HR practices.
- Good understanding of Maltese employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret and present HR data effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Shireburn software will be considered an asset.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field, or currently in the process of obtaining such qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate or professional services environment.
