- Actively identify and pursue new market opportunities, leveraging industry insights to develop innovative business strategies.
- Generate and evaluate new leads, assess partner requests, and manage the full sales cycle from negotiation to closure.
- Promote the company's service portfolio, upselling solutions to existing customers based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Represent the company at international conferences, trade events, exhibitions, and meetings to establish new business connections.
- Formulate detailed technical proposals and solutions tailored to customer requirements, ensuring feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide in-depth cost calculations and analyses to optimise service pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Oversee the provisioning, commissioning, and integration of services, ensuring seamless implementation.
- Maintain and update technical records in internal systems while ensuring accurate handover documentation for customers.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with service level agreements, identifying performance gaps and raising claims where necessary.
- Oversee billing reconciliation, payment statement vetting, and revenue assurance to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support contract management, assisting with drafting amendments and new agreements.
- Stay up to date with industry innovations, technological advancements, and market trends to align the company's services with emerging opportunities.
- Analyse market conditions, bid success rates, sales trends, and traffic data to propose product enhancements and pricing adjustments.
- Generate reports, demand forecasts, and performance insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Continuously refine operational workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans aimed at expanding the international and wholesale business.
- Minimum of two years of technical experience in pre-sales engineering within the Telecom, Wholesale Data or IT sector.
- Demonstrates understanding of data networking concepts, including IP connectivity, routing, and basic network architecture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to negotiate effectively with clients as well as within the organisation.
- Experience in drafting compelling sales proposals and delivering effective solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate service delivery across multiple stakeholders.
- A strong technical understanding of telecommunications services, networks, and industry trends, with a passion for staying up to date with innovations.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel at an advanced level
- Experience with CRM and billing systems such as Cerillion, Salesforce, Monday, or similar platforms is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, is preferred.
