- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning
- Manage the finance team, supporting staff development, and ensuring proper controls are in place to mitigate business risks
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and detailed reconciliations to support business decisions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, coordinating annual audits and preparing supporting documentation
- Contribute to improving financial processes and strengthening internal controls as the business scales
- 5 years’ hands-on experience in an accounting role (experience in the hospitality industry is preferred)
- Fluency in both Maltese and English
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Confidence to oversee financial operations and take ownership of outcomes
- A degree in Accountancy or an ACCA qualification
