This Data Protection Officer will join of the most regarded organisations in Malta and due to growth, they are bringing on a highly competent Data Protection leader to lead data protection efforts across the organisation.As Data Protection Officer, you will ongoingly collaborate with Head of Legal, authorities, governmental bodies and Directors on ensuring that the data protection standards are in line with the highest European standards, offering you both an engaging and highly important function.If you are an experienced data protection professional looking to make a difference, not even on a company level but at a national scale, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and secure organisation offering you a truly one-of-a-kind exposure.You will:

Ensure compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act;
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify breaches;
Continuously liaise with regulatory bodies and collaborate closely with them;
Serve as point of contact internally and from external stakeholders on all data protection or privacy related matter.

Experience:

Degree in Law or IT (other qualifications will be considered)
3+ years of data protection experience
Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese

Salary / Remuneration: EUR 50,000 – 60,000 DOEBenefits:
