We are looking for an Electrical Mechanical Technician to provide support to business units by maintaining equipment in top condition. This shall be achieved by implementing engineering maintenance routines such as breakdown maintenance repairs, total productive maintenance methodology and other structured engineering support tools.Responsibilities:
  • Ensures breakdown repairs and maintenance are completed quickly and ensures that all safety & Security procedures are followed
  • Before and after machine intervention, update the machine status using available systems and inform the maintenance supervisor of the status. Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in an effective and timely manner
  • Maintain production equipment to achieve optimum uptime
  • Measure equipment performance and undertake technical adjustments to contribute towards continuous improvement
  • Participate in the installation of new infrastructures and equipment
  • Report and document faults, deficiencies and corrective actions
Requirements:
  • MQF level 4 in mechanical/electrical or any other engineering field or higher.
  • Experience in repair and maintenance on mechanical or electrical.
  • Language proficiency: English C1 or higher.
  • Well-versed in the use of well-known office applications, e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven fault-finding capabilities, in fields of mechatronics, i.e. electrical, electronics and mechanics
  • Candidates must be already residing in Malta
  • Candidates with an Electrical License B will be preferred
