- Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times
- Design and execute seasonal menus focused on elevated British gastro pub cuisine
- Deliver exceptional Sunday roast offerings with attention to detail and consistency
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Manage food cost, stock levels, and supplier relationships
- Train, mentor, and develop the kitchen team to maintain high performance
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Collaborate with senior management on concept development and menu evolution
- Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a premium gastro pub or restaurant
- Strong expertise in modern British / English cuisine and traditional techniques
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality Sunday roast service
- Experience working in Europe or currently based in Malta
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on and structured approach
- Solid understanding of food costing, kitchen management, and operations
- Ability to perform consistently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Leadership role within a high-profile hospitality project
