Marine Electrician

• Carry out technical diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance services based on customers needs.
• Provide accurate estimates for all maintenance, repairs, and products sold in coordination with the Senior Technical Officer and Operations Manager.
• Ensure all work on vessels has been authorized and clarify any uncertainties with supervisors.
• Use materials and equipment efficiently and ensure all work is conducted safely and economically.
• Test vessels and diagnose issues when requested by senior personnel.
• Report all current and potential future faults identified during work.
• Stay updated with all relevant technical issues, bulletins, and updates.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete all company documentation accurately and submit it to the Operations Manager and Accounts Department.
• Follow all warranty procedures as per company and manufacturer policies.
• Personally assess customer requirements by visiting vessels and understanding concerns.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Answer technical queries clearly and avoid excessive jargon.

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing marine vessels, including engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the marine industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective repair solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical procedures and advice to clients.
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and shifting priorities.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in marine technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
