- Support the assessment process for new clients by utilising appropriate psychological assessment tools and methodologies to help determine eligibility for referred programmes, under supervision.
- Conduct assessments under the supervision of the Research & Innovation Department to gather data for ongoing impact evaluations and contribute to the preparation of reports across various programmes.
- Follow clients’ progress and assist with periodic reassessments as needed to aid in the monitoring, evaluation, and modification of interventions.
- Supporting parents reaching out via the Baby and Me Programme serving as a key point of contact in Gozo to provide clear, accessible information and support. Assist parents in navigating the wide range of services available across the islands, ensuring they are well-informed and connected to appropriate resources that support their families, under the supervision of the Pathfinder Principal Lead.
- Design, develop and deliver parent-focused workshops under the guidance of the Pathfinder Principal Lead, and deliver these sessions to support and empower participating families.
- Working in partnership with families and other staff to develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s needs for the development of their potential and for the creation of an inclusive environment in homes, schools, and the community.
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualised Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) for clients and families. Ensure that all plans are evidence-based, aligned with best practices, and developed in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to effectively address behavioural needs and promote positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided and carrying out administrative tasks as required to support the efficient functioning of the department.
- Abide by the Psychology Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics as outlined by the Malta Psychology Profession Board (MPPB) at all times.
- Substitute our Inclusive Education Practitioners or Support Workers should there be a shortage of staff available for programme sessions.
- Recognized degree qualification (rated and MQF Level 6) in Psychology.
- At least one (1) year post graduation experience ideally in a similar setting.
- High Proficiency in English language (both spoken & written – C1 Level).
