Ceek Talent is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer who will take full ownership of the company’s enterprise IT infrastructure and network environment across multiple business units.This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on architecture, security, optimisation, and project delivery, not first-line support. You will act as the primary technical authority for the infrastructure landscape, working closely with external managed service providers while ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. This opportunity offers strong strategic exposure and the chance to influence long-term technology direction.What is expected of you?

Own and manage the company’s end-to-end IT infrastructure and network architecture
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient environments
Lead infrastructure and digital transformation projects from design to delivery
Act as 2nd/3rd line escalation point for infrastructure-related issues
Manage firewalls, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and security policies
Administer servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backups, and disaster recovery solutions
Manage hybrid environments across on-premises and Microsoft Azure
Oversee identity and device management solutions (Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD)
Lead Microsoft 365 initiatives including SharePoint and collaboration platforms
Collaborate with managed service providers and external vendors
Define infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices
Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security posture

What are you expected to bring?

3+ years of experience in a senior infrastructure or network engineering role
Strong hands-on networking expertise (firewalls, VLANs, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, WAN)
Experience with enterprise firewalls and security best practices
Solid Windows Server administration and virtualization experience (VMware/Hyper-V)
Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud deployments
Microsoft 365 administration experience (Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID, etc.)
Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning knowledge
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Ability to independently lead projects from architecture through implementation

Nice to have:

Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, etc.)
Experience in multi-site environments
Infrastructure automation or scripting (PowerShell, etc.)
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
