Data Analyst

• Manage the end-to-end process for ensuring platform availability and user access related to market placement data entry.
• Resolving any technical or procedural issues, issuing reminders, and proactively following up on late, missing, or inconsistent submissions.
• Design, implement, and carry out robust market surveillance procedures, encompassing data audits, reconciliation, and cross-verification of submitted declarations to identify anomalies, under-reporting, and inconsistencies.
• Develop, enhance, and manage data-driven tools and machine learning models aimed at detecting fraud, identifying anomalies, and recognising patterns within large datasets that may indicate non-compliance or fraudulent behaviour.
• Lead the creation of analytical reports, compliance dashboards, and bespoke analyses for both internal and regulatory stakeholders.
• Automate recurring reporting and data-handling activities using programming and advanced business intelligence tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as a liaison with the regulatory authority, ensuring the timely and accurate sharing of compliance-related data.
• Collaborate with internal teams-including operations, IT, compliance, and senior management-to support investigations, resolve discrepancies, and communicate analytical insights.

• Experience of at least 2 years in a similar role
• Familiar with tools such as PowerBI, Phyton
• Proficient in building interactive dashboards and data models
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Degree in Data Science, Business Analystics or Computer Science
