- Carry out advanced maintenance and repair work across hotel systems and facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building-related faults.
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during assigned shifts.
- Support planning, tracking, and execution of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor General Maintenance Level 1 and Level 2 staff.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when required.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist with the planning and execution of refurbishment and improvement projects.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a general maintenance role, preferably within a hotel or similar operational environment.
- Proven technical competence in advanced troubleshooting and repair work.
- Experience supervising, guiding, or mentoring maintenance staff.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate maintenance tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
