Job DescriptionTrends, a leading furniture company who specialises in bespoke carpentry, is looking for a CNC Programmer / CAD CAM Designer to join its team.The candidate should be highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision in order to produce machined items by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining high quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Creates instructions for machinists and translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) programme;
Reviews 2D/3D CAD design blueprints;
Be flexible to work on projects according to production requirements;
Adjust machine and tools according to the article to be produced concordant with the machine requirements;
Checks completed programmes by running simulations or tests;
Preferred Skills and Requirements:
Good command of AutoCAD and BSolid;
Knowledge of furniture manufacturing will be considered an asset.
