- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, building and nurturing strong client relationships to ensure high-quality service, efficiency, and satisfaction
- Ensure client accounting records are maintained in compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Prepare VAT returns, tax filings, and management accounts while coordinating with auditors
- Effectively manage your workflows, workload, and deadlines to maintain optimal productivity
- Lead financial reporting projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
- Communicate and liaise with relevant authorities on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance and timely resolution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, reviewing their work and fostering effective communication and motivation in alignment with company goals
- Identify opportunities for client and business growth and assist in the onboarding process of new clients, ensuring smooth transitions and strong relationships from the start
- Continuously assess and suggest improvements to systems and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- ACCA qualified or equivalent, with at least 2 years of client-facing experience, ideally in a CSP environment
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Proficient in IFRS or local accounting standards, with a solid understanding of Maltese VAT and tax legislation
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and within a team
- High integrity and awareness of risk when handling confidential information
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (other than Maltese) are a plus
