- Monitor and control hotel operating costs in line with budgets
- Manage stock control processes and ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements
- Conduct regular stock takes and support timely management reporting
- Monitor complimentary items and ensure compliance with approved allowances
- Maintain and monitor the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring menu pricing accuracy
- Perform menu and function costings to support profitability and decision-making
- Liaise with Purchasing to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Carry out outlet spot checks to ensure accurate posting of consumed items
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare reports accurately
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of accounting systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of hotel operations and purchasing processes is considered an asset
- One to two years’ experience in accounting or cost control, preferably within hospitality
