  • Contribute to the monthly financial reporting process including management accounts, analysis and group reporting, and other routine reporting tasks.
  • Support core finance activities such as accounting policies, budgeting, tax processes, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Assist with finance operations, reconciliations, and the settlement process, including oversight of safeguarding‑related activities and client‑money procedures.
  • Prepare necessary audit documents and assist with the drafting of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Liaise with auditors and external advisors as needed.
  • Prepare VAT returns, corporate tax computations, and other required filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting to the relevant authorities. To ensure that all work that incorporates companies that are licensed by regulators are in adherence to all rules and regulations as per licensed requirements of all licensing authorities.
  • Contribute to business plans, budgets, and forecast analyses.
  • Overviewing adherence to Budgets by departmental management.
  • Help maintain consistent, reliable financial data across the organisation.
  • Carry out other ad hoc tasks or assist with other accounting projects as necessary.
Above tasks are to be performed for eToro Money Malta, eToro Money UK and any other eToro Group entity as required.Sub Department:

  • Fully qualified accountant with +3 years experience in Finance functions.
  • Experience in financial services sector or serving financial services clients.
  • Preferably to have electronic Money and payments industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS reporting, income tax and VAT rules.
  • Growth–oriented and driven to develop new skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of managing tasks end-to-end, from financial reporting, to regulatory reporting, to month-end close, to bookkeeping, to reconciliations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication experience.
