Shuttering Carpenter

- Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and plans.
- Build and dismantle shuttering (formwork) for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
- Measure, cut, and assemble timber or metal formwork systems.
- Install steel reinforcement (rebar) within formwork if required.
- Pour and level concrete into prepared forms.
- Ensure all formwork is aligned, level, and structurally sound.
- Strip formwork once concrete is set, without damaging the concrete.
- Follow health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet deadlines.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter in construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic understanding of concrete and reinforcement placement.
- Awareness of health and safety standards on construction sites.
