- To form part of the team responsible for all global IP connectivity and infrastructure security of the FIMBank Group.
- Assist with the system administration (including requirements analysis, design, testing, installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, firmware upgrades, backups, documentation, and contingency planning) of various areas of competence covering:
- Internet and cloud technologies;
- Wired and wireless data networks;
- Network management and performance monitoring technologies;
- IT infrastructure security, covering endpoints, networks, applications and cloud services;
- Software-defined security and networking in virtualised environments; and
- Authentication platforms.
- Provide advanced support and escalation for IT security systems;
- Assist with specific projects;
- Other tasks and projects delegated by management;
- Stay adjourned and adhere to the latest AML/CFT policies and procedures.
- Possession of current NetSec qualifications from vendores is highly desirable for this role. Whilst not essential, any other specialised NetSec certifications may be considered as assets.
- Relevant academic qualifications in a field related to NetSec or Engineering may also be considered to be helpful in this role.
- 3-5 years' prior working experience within demanding mission-critical environments having high exposure to well-established network and security practices.
- Proven ability to blend a strong understanding of technology together with an effective risk-based approach to security.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, self-driven with a capacity for taking on responsibility and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent team player, with strong integrity and professional ethics
- Critical thinker, problem solver with strong time management and organizational skills
- Willing to support the Group after standard office hours as may be necessary from time to time and must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively, through firm command of the verbal and written English language.
