- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are aligned with approved purchase orders and quotations
- Reconciling supplier statements and preparing payments accordingly
- Monitoring accounts payable and receivable activities
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Liaising with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- Supporting accruals and prepayments analysis
- Assisting in month-end closing procedures
- Preparing ad hoc reports as requested by the Financial Controller
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software will be considered an asset
