Reporting to: Finance ManagerYou will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, and drive process improvements. You will work closely with finance leadership and lead the accounting team to streamline operations, strengthen controls, and support the company’s growth objectives.Key responsibilitiesLead day-to-day accounting operations across entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.Act as “head accountant,” providing technical guidance and oversight to the accounting team. Lead and mentor a team of junior & senior accountants (total of 5).Drive improvements in the month-end close process, targeting day 10 close within 12 months.Support transition to automated financial consolidation and strengthen internal controls.Identify and resolve errors earlier in the close process, reducing rework and post-close adjustments.Free up Finance leadership by taking ownership of operational tasks, enabling their focus on strategic priorities.Partner with Finance Manager and Head of Finance on process improvements, system enhancements, and scalable practices to support growth.Required skills & qualificationsACCA qualification or equivalent accounting degree with proven application in leading finance teams.Working experience in the iGaming industry.Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a finance or accounting team to achieve operational and strategic goals.Experienced with Netsuite/ Xero.Hands-on experience with financial consolidation across multiple entities, including process improvements and reporting oversight.Nice-to-havesExperience working with consolidation tools.What's in it for you?The chance to make a tangible impact in a rapidly growing, global company.A culture that rewards ambition, innovation, and collaboration.Comprehensive benefits package for Malta-based employees, including:Private health insurance, wellness allowance, and communication allowance.Healthy lunch on Wednesdays, Social Fridays, and Summer & Christmas events.Employee discounts in restaurants and businesses.Extended second-parent leave policy.Private parking space.
