Job DescriptionCompany Introduction Our client is a boutique accounting and auditing firm.Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' IT risks and controls, designing and updating risk-based IT audit programs while identifying key exposures and recommending improvements;
  • Perform testing of General IT Controls and automated controls in alignment with Deloitte methodology;
  • Apply professional skepticism to detect gaps or incomplete information, ensuring that all necessary evidence is obtained;
  • Research and apply IT control frameworks, accounting standards, and auditing principles to assess alternatives and provide well-founded evaluations, maintaining a strong focus on quality and professional rigor;
  • Guide and support junior team members by providing technical expertise, encouraging knowledge-sharing, and fostering professional development through on-the-job learning.
Experience
  • Achieved a tertiary qualification in IT, Business & Computing, or Accountancy, with additional knowledge in CISA;
  • Have over 2 years of hands-on IT audit experience, with strong proficiency in SQL and Excel;
  • Acquired practical exposure to Service Organisation Control (SOC) engagements;
  • Ability to apply systematic tools and methodologies to gather, measure, and analyse data from multiple sources;
  • Adapted effectively to shifting priorities while collaborating with team leaders for guidance and alignment;
  • Completed all required training and compliance obligations, including relevant professional certifications, within deadlines.
