- Conduct thorough legal research across Maltese and international law
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, corporate resolutions, agreements, and correspondence
- Assist in preparing client-facing memoranda, opinions, and advisory notes
- Support due diligence processes for corporate and transactional matters
- Assist senior lawyers in managing client files across multiple practice areas
- Liaise with clients, authorities, and third parties under supervision
- Help prepare submissions to the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), Inland Revenue, Malta Business Registry, and other regulatory bodies
- Support citizenship and residency applications, corporate formation filings, and compliance documentation
- Maintain well-organised, accurate matter files
- Assist with billing, time recording, and file management
- Contribute to knowledge management and internal resources
- Support marketing and business development activities as required (e.g., drafting insights and articles for the firm's website and library)
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised university — final year students who will qualify by the start date are welcome to apply. Up to 1 year of post-qualification or legal internship/paralegal experience would be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of or interest in Maltese or EU law
- Familiarity with corporate, tax, or financial services legal work
- Strong academic record
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and spoken English. Second language (Maltese, Italian, French, Arabic, or other)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude and genuine enthusiasm for law
- Hands-on legal training experience from day one
