Client Accountant

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned clients in accordance with relevant standards.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts while collaborating with auditors as necessary.
• Effectively manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Lead projects and ad-hoc financial reporting tasks as directed by management.
• Act as the primary point of contact for team members, providing guidance, reviewing work, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Assist in client onboarding processes and propose system/process improvements as needed.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on behalf of clients.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and development.

• ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a CSP environment.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Proficiency in IFRS or local accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive mindset.
• Thorough understanding of Maltese VAT and tax legislation.
• Demonstrated integrity when handling confidential information.
