Join us in driving Excellence, empowering People, and enhancing Communication to create a thriving and impactful workplace.About the RoleWe are currently looking for a Disability Services Coordinator to join our team in Gozo on a full-time basis for a definite period of four (4) years. The chosen individual shall be responsible for the smooth coordination and administration of the disability programmes in Gozo that specifically fall under the ESF Project. This role involves managing logistics, supporting programme delivery, and coordinating activities. A key responsibility includes identifying, sourcing, and liaising with qualified instructors to deliver a diverse range of wellness and recreational activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about youth development and community wellbeing. They shall be a supporting role to the Gozo Services Manager.What you'll be doing
  • Maintain accurate records of participant registration, attendance, and feedback.
  • Manage programme calendars, schedules, and documentation.
  • Coordinate communication with parents, caregivers, and external partners.
  • Support on budget tracking and procurement of supplies and materials for the programme.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research and identify qualified instructors and guest speakers for various programme activities.
  • Contact and support the vetting of potential instructors, ensuring they meet programme standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate contracts, schedules, and logistics for external service providers.
  • Maintain a database of instructors and activity providers for future use.
  • Assist in scheduling daily and weekly activities.
  • Oversee setup and cleanup of activity spaces, ensuring all materials are available and organized.
  • Monitor activity execution to ensure alignment with programme goals and safety standards.
  • Collect and compile feedback from participants and staff to inform future planning.
  • Coordinate venue bookings, and catering (if applicable) for different programmes.
  • Report all non- compliances with health and safety regulations to the Gozo Services Manager.
  • Maintain inventory of programme materials and equipment.
  • Support risk assessments and incident reporting procedures.
What we’re looking forEmpathetic, respectful and detail-oriented professional with excellent record-keeping, documentation, and follow-up practices. The ideal candidate shall be a good listener, skilled in conflict resolution and collaborative problem-solving.Qualifications & Experience
  • In possession of a qualification recognized at (MQF Level 5) in Administration/Health & Social Care Management.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role and/or role organizing activities/events ideally in a similar setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates knowledgeable on PowerBI would be favoured.
  • Available to work evenings to help facilitate the delivery of sessions.
