Our client, a reputable IT company based in Malta, is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive GDPR Business Development Manager to support the growth by building market access through the data-protection and privacy compliance ecosystem. The role focuses on regulatory alignment, certification readiness, and auditor-led partnerships, positioning as a jurisdiction-neutral, GDPR-aligned infrastructure provider for enterprise and regulated customers. Establish and manage strategic partnerships with GDPR auditors, DPO firms, and privacy consultancies supporting enterprise SaaS and web platforms
Support compliance-driven customer migration from US-centric frameworks to EU and Swiss data-processing environments
Act as a coordination interface with GDPR auditors during onboarding and assessment processes
Translate GDPR requirements into partnership structures and market positioning
Represent within GDPR-focused industry events, forums, and professional networks

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong understanding of GDPR, data-protection principles, and privacy frameworks
Experience engaging with auditors, compliance advisors, or regulatory stakeholders
Ability to operate in regulated, documentation-driven environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Full-time availability for onsite work in Malta
Background in GDPR advisory, compliance consulting, or enterprise privacy programs
Existing professional network within the EU data-protection ecosystem
Exposure to SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, or web-scale services
Experience supporting cross-border or multi-jurisdiction compliance initiatives
