- Food and beverage preparation: Prepare a variety of high-quality food and beverage products following the recipes and guidelines provided in the operation manual.
- Customer service: Interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Menu knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the food and beverage menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and customization options.
- Quality control: Maintain consistent quality of food and beverages by adhering to precise measurements, brewing and cooking methods, and presentation standards.
- Equipment maintenance: Ensure all equipment is clean, properly maintained, and functioning optimally. Report any equipment issues to the management.
- Speed and efficiency: Work efficiently to fulfill customer orders promptly, especially during peak hours, without compromising on a food and beverage quality.
- Cash handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following the company’s financial protocols.
- Cleanliness and hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including all the stations, equipment, and customer seating area, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Customer engagement: Engage with customers, answer their questions, and provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the outlet.
- Continuous learning: Stay up-to-date with trends, techniques, and new products to enhance your skills and contribute to the development of the beverage menu.
- Previous experience (2+ years) as a Barista or in a similar role, with a strong focus on crafting high-quality products locally or within the Italian brand.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new knowledge of various products, equipment, and terminology.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to create memorable experiences for customers.
- Fluent in the English language, candidates with a knowledge of the Italian language will be given a preference.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
