We are currently looking to recruit a Legal Officer - International Relations to join our client's Legal Affairs team, supporting cross-border legal work, policy analysis, and international cooperation initiatives.Responsabilities:- Monitor EU and international regulatory developments, policies, and trends, and assess their impact on local frameworks.- Build and maintain relationships with international regulatory and supervisory bodies.- Organize and coordinate bilateral and multilateral meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice discussions.- Prepare agendas, briefing notes, and follow-up documentation for high-level meetings and international engagements.- Support reviews, assessments, and evaluations of regulatory frameworks.- Assist internal teams with the implementation of EU and international standards, directives, and regulations.- Represent the organisation in international and regional working groups, forums, and collaborative projects.- Handle queries, questionnaires, and ad-hoc requests from senior stakeholders and international counterparts.Requirements

Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office & office tools
Knowledge of AML/CFT laws (Malta, EU, international)
Excellent analytical, research, and presentation abilities
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Education and Experience

MQF Level 6 qualification in International Relations, European Studies, Law, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Finance, or related field
3 years relevant work experience in a similar position
