Head of Regulatory Strategy – FintechCentral role in guiding compliance within a forward-thinking payments organisation.Working across both established financial frameworks and evolving digital models.Chance to shape, mentor and expand a capable compliance team as the business grows.This is a central role within a forward-thinking digital payments organisation, operating at the intersection of established financial services regulation and evolving digital models. The business has a clear structure, a defined growth strategy, and a strong ambition to maintain a competitive edge in the market.The opportunity is ideally suited to an individual currently holding an approved key function within the Maltese payments or fintech sector. Prior MFSA approval is essential; however, this is far more than a regulatory formality. The organisation is looking for someone ambitious and commercially aware, confident in challenging the status quo and capable of adding genuine strategic value while helping to shape the next phase of growth.The company offers a generous welcome package together with a clearly mapped-out progression and upskilling pathway, as well as the opportunity to mentor and further develop an established compliance team as the business expands.You Will:
  • Lead group wide compliance function
  • Be primary contact person with regulators
  • Taking care of company’s DPO function
Skills / Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in financial sector
  • Legal or Financial background
  • Previous approval (PQ) by MFSA
