- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and maintenance staff, to coordinate projects and resolve complex issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs performed.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques and repair methods.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as specialised testing equipment, safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
