Our client, a well-established Corporate Service Provider in Malta, is looking for an Legal Advisor to join their growing team. In this role, the selected candidate will be providing practical legal and regulatory support, with an emphasis on fintech and digital asset businesses.This is a hybrid role that offers a salary of up to €55K depending on experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients and internal departmentsAct as the main point of contact between clients and regulatory authoritiesProvide regulatory and compliance advice, supporting clients through licensing and authorisation processes with the MFSA and other authorities, including document preparation and coordinationSupport regulated entities in meeting their regulatory and compliance obligations, particularly within the fintech sectorPlan and manage compliance activities in line with applicable legislation and regulatory frameworksMonitor regulatory developments and advise clients on potential impact and required actionsAssist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and agreementsProvide support for corporate structuring and restructuring projectsProvide support to colleagues across legal, regulatory, and corporate services teams on compliance and regulatory mattersEducation, Skills & ExperienceMaster in Advocacy or Doctor of Laws or equivalent with a warrant to practice law in Malta4+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role in MaltaExcellent communication skills in English at C2/native level, both written and verbalProven interest and experience in regulated industries, ideally with knowledge of MFSA licensing and regulatory requirementsKnowledge of AML/CFT compliance management processes is a plusAble to work both independently and within a teamFluent in Microsoft Office and other standard office toolsAbout the RoleSalary of up to €55K depending on experienceHybrid with flexible hours – on Fridays the office closes at 14:00On-the-job trainingHealth insuranceWellness allowanceFree parkingStudy leave and opportunities for career growthOpportunities to attend industry eventsSupportive team culture with professional development initiativesApply with your detailed CV.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
