Our client, a well-established company operating in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Finance Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate has to be ambitious, able to take initiative and autonomous in order to have room to progress internally.Responsibilities:

Manage the payroll operations while ensuring compliance with tax regulations
Collaborate with the HR department to ensure all data is reviewed and up to date, especially that related to payroll
Responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of transactions
Oversee in-house bank accounts, reconciliations and petty cash management
Assist the Manager with the preparation of accruals, prepayments and other day-to-day financial reports
Maintain the Company's internal control framework
Assist in the execution of audit-related activities as may be required from time to time

Skill-sets and Requirements

Previous local experience in a similar role doing up to the trial balance stage, ideally involved in payroll
Knowledge of local tax regulations
Ambitious and able to work independently
Analytical thinking and problem solving
