Junior Accountant- Malta Air

• Prepare monthly management accounts.

• Participate in monthly variance analysis against budgets in a manner that facilitates management decision making and drives improvement as well as cost savings.

• Tracking of balance sheet accounts and preparation of monthly reconciliations.

• Assist in the preparation of entity-level yearly budgets.

• Support the delivery of KPIs and forward-looking projections to the Group on an ongoing basis.

• Provide assistance to senior finance staff on a range of projects across the Group on an ad hoc basis.

• Close internal and external audit requests.

• A part-qualified Accountant currently in the last stages of studying for ACCA (or equivalent) and, ideally, some relevant accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical skills are essential. The individual is a motivated, reliable and adaptable team member who can proactively contribute to delivering solutions.
• Candidate must be willing to travel for work and should be able to exhibit a high degree of initiative as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• The candidate must have very strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
