Reporting to the General Manager, the role focuses on operational consistency, compliance, and the ongoing development of an HR team of three.Key Duties
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day HR operations.
- Manage full recruitment and onboarding cycles.
- Oversee payroll inputs and related administration.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
- Ensure HR data is accurate, organised, and compliant.
- Prepare HR reports and analysis when needed.
- Supervise and support a team of three HR professionals.
- Collaborate with L&D on training needs and initiatives.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance.
- Minimum 5 years' HR experience, including 2+ in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong operational expertise: payroll, T&A, recruitment, and agency workforce management.
- Excellent command of Maltese and English.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Capable of mentoring and guiding departmental leaders.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and experienced with Indigo HR/payroll systems.
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical and effective in solving operational challenges.
