The purpose of the role is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the company's premises in Luqa, Malta, while assisting the housekeeping team in general maintenance tasks and errands as necessary.M.C.M. Maintenance Centre Malta Ltd is seeking a full-time team member to work within the Housekeeping department in our offices based in Luqa, Malta. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the selected candidate will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the company’s premises, in accordance with the Health and Safety Regulations. We are looking for a full-time cleaner to act as a team player with the housekeeping team in tasks related to general cleaning and maintenance, laundry and running errands whenever required. If you are a good communicator who takes pride in delivering excellent standards of service and has a team-oriented approach to working, we would like to hear from you. Basic literacy and numeracy skills as well as a good understanding of the Maltese and English language are required. A basic licence B/B1 is required. Air the rooms
Dust & clean floors, carpets, furniture and objects. Ventilate rooms
Dust, sort out waste and empty dustbins
Clean and store clothes and other textiles (washing, sewing, ironing)
Clean floors and furniture
Do the dishes and stow them away. Tidy and clean the kitchen and sanitary facilities
Clean toilets and kitchens. Fill towel and soap dispenser
Clean and dry glass surfaces, borders and frames
Prepare cleaning agents and equipment. Mark out slippery areas
Prepare materials and cleaning products (wiper, rod, ladder). Demarcation of work place/working zone
Fill in follow-up documents (schedule, place...) and inform concerned persons about abnormalities
Assist staff of industrial kitchen (reception, heating plates, washing linen...)
Change sheets and make up beds
Dispose of waste (domestic, industrial). Put dustbins and waste containers outside for collection
Clean surfaces with: automatic cleaning machine (scrubber drier)
Clean glass surfaces on ground floor (windows, walls, mirrors...)
Clean inside of planes, cars, trains...and supply new accessories (headsets, bags...)
Clean: clean windows
Plan and coordinate cleaning activities
