- Conduct thorough market research to monitor industry trends, market dynamics, competitive intelligence and identify potential areas for growth and investment.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers to assess new product needs and identify opportunities for market expansion
- Lead the exploration and analysis of new markets (countries) as they regulate online gambling, ensuring comprehensive understanding of compliance, legal, financial, and operational requirements
- Improve and optimize the New Market Entry process and its priorities with key stakeholders ensuring timely and cost-effective market entire
- Build and maintain a Sales pipeline for new markets including cultivating relationships with new market operators
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Compliance departments to develop detailed ROI analyses and business plans for entering new markets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline in new or upcoming markets, prioritizing initiatives that align with company goals and market potential.
- Support sales and account management teams by providing strategic insights, resources, and guidance to penetrate new markets effectively.
- Cross functional management ensuring product development efforts are aligned with market demands and business goals
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and evaluate potential new product verticals, markets, and strategic initiatives.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to explore new revenue streams and enhance competitive advantage.
- Lead by example and foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Business Development team.
- As the role develops, build and manage a dedicated team to support business development activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within the iGaming industry.
- Strong understanding of the iGaming market, including regulatory considerations and customer preferences.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated success in market analysis, entry strategies, and relationship management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred
