- Undertake any projects/duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
- Act as the customers’ main contact for DHL, responding to and satisfying their sales and post-sales requirements.
- Build a strong client relationship to ensure that the account performs and grows to its maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business.
- You will be expected to undertake market research, analyze trends, and identify opportunities, offering actionable insights that can be shared with customers to support their growth. As a trusted adviser, you’ll help customers navigate market conditions, offering strategies to optimize their logistics solutions based on data-driven findings.
- Manage a portfolio of customers via telephone: Make telephone calls to existing customers on a regular pre-defined call cycle to secure new business and to ensure that individual agreed targets are achieved.
- Always provide customer-oriented service relating to specific sales issues.
- Liaise closely with colleagues and other departments within DHL to ensure that a full, cost-effective service is maintained and that targets for the area are achieved.
- Ensure cooperation with other members of the sales team and throughout the sales force.
- Carry out any task that is required by your superiors from time to time.
- Currently already in Malta with a valid working permit.
- Exhibits an exceptional degree of initiative, creativity, resourcefulness, and empathy.
- Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues.
- Strong research abilities and a keen eye for identifying market trends that benefit customers.
- Excellent communication skills via phone, emails and face to face meetings with customers.
- Ability to provide valuable insights and act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them to better business decisions.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Ordinary Level Certification or higher educational qualifications.
- Well organized with good analytical skills.
- Proficient PC skills, including MS applications.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Customer centric and result oriented.
- Previous sales experience will be considered as an asset.
- Basic salary of 20,000 – 22,000 annually.
