This Senior Database Administrator opportunity offers you the chance to join a highly established financial institution within a structured and professional technology environment. The position combines strategic involvement with hands-on technical responsibility, allowing you to contribute to architecture decisions while ensuring performance, security, and reliability across core data platforms.This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys solving complex database challenges, contributing to infrastructure initiatives, and remaining technically involved within large-scale enterprise environments. The position will give you responsibility across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid database technologies, strengthening the resilience and scalability of systems that underpin key banking operations.You will:
Design and manage enterprise database environments across critical systems.
Monitor and optimise database performance using advanced tuning techniques.
Lead database upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives to ensure data integrity and resilience.
Skills / Experience:
3+ years’ experience in Database Administration within enterprise IT environments.
3+ years’ experience with Oracle or SQL database platforms.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
