About the job Truck Driver C1 LicenseManpower is seeking to recruit a C1 License Truck Driver, who will be responsible for affecting sales and distribution services to several clients as indicated by the company.This role is an important point of reference between the company and the clients. Reporting directly to the Logistics Executive, the Driver will also collaborate and work closely with the Logistics/Cold Stores Team as well as the Sales team to explore sales and customer service improvements.Key accountabilities / responsibilities

Being responsible for vehicles under your control including cleaning the vehicle
Making sure that the designated vehicle is equipped as necessary
Collecting/delivering the product whilst taking all the necessary safety precautions.
Loading and unloading of all merchandise, which includes heavy lifting of packages.
Reporting any discrepancies or damages of goods to the appropriate Manager.
Accepting returns from customers, completing the necessary documentation and return to warehouse.
Observing speed limits and obeying all road signs.
Keeping driving records (i.e., mileage and gas receipts).
Contacting clients to take orders and increase sales.
Informing customers about product availability and product prices.
Delivering invoices with orders and collecting payments.

Requirements and Skills

In possession of a valid Driver's License C1
Good command of numeracy literacy
Good communication skills in English
Customer-oriented.
Able to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
Candidates with previous experience will be given preference.

JOB INFO:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 14:30
Salary plus commission
