If you are looking to join an international firm, then we look forward to receiving your CV for this Malta based Head of Legal & Compliance role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAct as a key advisor to the executive team, providing insights on mitigating legal and regulatory risks and ensuring legal considerations are embedded in strategic decision-making.Manage and facilitate the acquisition and renewal of iGaming licenses from regulatory authorities worldwide.Ensure consistent adherence to license conditions and requirements.Establish and nurture positive relationships with regulatory bodies globally.Oversee and manage corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder relations, and regulatory filings.Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.Handle or oversee legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration proceedings, collaborating with external legal counsel to achieve cost-effective resolutions.Protect intellectual property, trademarks, and patents.Ensure the organisation's operations are fully compliant with local, regional, and international laws and regulations.Develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures to ensure ethical and legal conduct.Foster a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR.Develop and maintain data protection policies and procedures.Lead and mentor a high-performing legal team, including in-house counsel and legal support.Foster a collaborative and proactive approach within the legal team.Inspire and motivate team members, ensuring a high standard of work ethicCANDIDATE PROFILEFully qualifiedAt least 2 years experience in a similar role within GamingBe based in MaltaCOMPANY BENEFITSRemote!
