Job Description :Bus drivers are required across the passenger transport sector in Malta to support the movement of individuals for work, tourism, and daily commuting. This role involves operating buses along scheduled routes, ensuring passenger safety, and providing a professional and friendly service.Depending on the route and employer, drivers may operate on local lines, intercity routes, or tourist charters.Key Responsibilities:Drive buses safely and professionally on assigned routes.Ensure the safety of passengers during transit, including assisting those with mobility needs.Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the bus is in good working condition.Keep accurate records of trips, maintenance checks, and any incidents.Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies.RequirementsIntermediate English proficiency (minimum B1 level).Valid Category D driving licence (foreign licences valid for up to one year).Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is preferred.Candidates without CPC will be provided training to obtain the certificate.Basic understanding of road safety and passenger service standards.Commitment to upgrading to an EU Category D licence as needed.Important Note:Not all foreign D licences meet Malta’s passenger transport standards.
