Our Client is seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive to enhance its back-office and broader sales operations. This role involves managing client accounts, promoting in-house and industry products, and maintaining strong relationships with both business and individual clients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in identifying opportunities, providing tailored solutions, and collaborating closely with internal teams to support seamless service delivery.Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and offering practical solutions.
  • Sales Management: Follow up on leads and quotations, ensuring timely responses and maximising opportunities for new and repeat business.
  • Product Promotion: Actively sell the Company’s in-house products alongside items from the wider electrical sector, meeting sales targets across multiple lines.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside operations, logistics, technical staff, and management to ensure smooth delivery of services and a high-quality customer experience.
  • Market Awareness: Identify new business opportunities, understand procurement cycles, and adapt sales approaches to B2B and B2C clients.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
  • Education: Relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Proven sales experience, ideally within electrical products or related sectors, with familiarity in both business and consumer markets.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and professionally.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Skilled at building rapport and maintaining constructive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical products and industry trends is desirable.
  • Organisation: Strong ability to manage multiple client accounts, follow-ups, and priorities efficiently.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive and results-oriented, with the drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Approaches challenges with practical, solution-focused strategies to resolve client issues.
