Demand & Supply Chain Manager

• Overseeing, directing and coordinating the overall planning activities within the Department, ensuring an achievable rolling production plan whilst optimising plan utilisation;
• Coordinating and supporting the demand based on the production plan in liaison at cross cross-functional level to maximise efficiency and customer requirements;
• Collaborating closely at a multi-disciplinary level including Operations - to ensure that the production schedule effectively supports the efficient operation of the site and delivers against budgets, procurement to ensure raw material and component planning is optimised, MS&T to ensure a thorough understanding and comprehensive planning of any new product launches and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery;
• Providing short and long-term demand forecasts and analysis with the responsibility for the demand planning and execution of existing and new product introductions;
• Responsible for key metrics including but not limited to OTD, OTIF, inventory, forecast accuracy and stock management; and,
• Leading, supporting, and enhancing the development of the team through proper segregation of accountabilities and talent management opportunities.

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field;
• Previous proven relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience;
• Proficiency in planning and ERP systems, preferably in SAP;
• Demonstrated material-related analytical skills such as setting up a forecast, data analysis, fit gap analysis and report presentation skills;
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organisation; and,
• The ability to adapt to changing requirements and implement actions to meet business demands.
