- Assisting staff and company agents in their ICT requirements, that includes migration of data to other systems and physical movement of ICT equipment.
- Performing first line support for any issues that crop up pertaining to ICT hardware and software. This can be in carried out in various forms namely but not limited to; phone calls, emails, online support, and onsite support in any of the Agency's hubs.
- Assisting in the analysis, evaluation, adjudication, purchase and implementation of ICT hardware and software.
- Raising requests for the provision, updating or termination of ICT services.
- Providing technical support and assistance to staff and company agents in using core applications and operating systems.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the network infrastructure and data rooms/cabinets at company locations.
- Managing the ICT inventory including all tangible and intangible assets.
- Updating of content/data on the website and related content management system.
- Writing technical reports and/or user guides related to the ICT field and other reports as may be required by management.
- Administering security rights and liaise with superiors in order to improve systems security.
- Testing of system applications and enhancements as part of User Acceptance Testing exercises.
- Providing, maintaining and analysing of data that can be required for verification and/or reporting purposes.
- Ensuring the alignment of the internal ICT procedures and practices with respect to the Government ICT policies.
- Liaising with third parties to assist in the provision of ICT services and/or implementation of ICT projects.
- Maintaining satisfactory standards of safety and security in relation to computer rooms and equipment.
- Due to the rapid changes in technologies, the employee is required to keep abreast of the advancements in ICT.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of ICT related tasks for any refurbishment and/or new setup of company hubs.
- Performing other ICT related works or projects as assigned by the company senior management team or the direct supervisor of the employee.
- Participating and representing the Agency in meetings (internal and external) as recommended by the Head of the Unit and Chief Executive Officer.
