Company DescriptionMekanika is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical contracting, BMS, ELVs, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management.Job DescriptionThe prospective candidates will form part of a team of professionals in this field capable of carrying out electrical installations and repairs, including 3-phase installations, on projects of varying complexity, including but not limited to high rise buildings.The selected candidates will be expected to perform a selection of the following duties based on his technical knowhow:

Installation, commissioning and testing of new Electrical systems;
Electrical services and commissioning works on Industrial lighting and power systems;
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on Electrical Building services;
Perform upgrades and modifications of electrical systems;
Carry out Preventive Maintenance on Lighting and Power systems, Emergency lighting, distribution boards, motors, pumps used in industrial and commercial building;

QualificationsThe selected candidate will preferably:

Possess a relevant qualification which licenses work on electrical installations;
Have a good understanding of technical drawings including schematic drawings and wiring diagrams;
Have at least 2 years’ previous experience in a similar role;
Have a good command of the English language;
Have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and workplace safety;
Possess a clean police conduct and a valid driving license;
Be a team player willing to work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
